HELP WANTED
Our club colleague Trevor Mahoney is very much involved with the Stephen Roche - 'Tour de Cure' charity cycle event which takes in Midleton tomorrow. Over 1,000 cyclists will take part!
Trevor recruited some of his cycling colleagues to help steward with our race last evening - Can we help him tomorrow ?

Trevor says
"If people are able to help on Sat (tomorrow) that they can be at the GAA hall around 7:30am and ask for him (087 667 5678).
We greatly appreciate any help"


Stephen Roche Tour De Cure in association with MyHome.ie

“Let’s Make a Difference”

‘Midleton Cycling & Tri Club’ along with ‘Stephen Roche’ are presenting the 2nd ‘Stephen Roche Tour de Cure’ in association with MyHome.ie, on Saturday, 8th May 2010 based out of Midleton County Cork. Stephen Roche once again is delighted to be lending his name and participating in such an cycling sportif/event raising money for great causes whilst also getting bums on seats and introducing cycling to those who may not do this often.

The courses on offer have been individually selected and loop through the beautiful East Cork, Waterford and Tipperary Counties. Participants will have a choice of 4 circuits, the 50km ‘Novice’ Route, the 100km ‘Challenger’, the 160km ‘Expert’ and an addition to this year, a 15km Family Run.

The entry fee is 40 euro per rider but this includes a great Event Cycling Jersey, Feed Zone Route Refueling and Post-Ride Festivities along with other items that will be provided on the day. Riders can raise additional money via our sponsorship cards which will be sent out on receipt of entries or downloadable from the site, www.stephenrochetourdecure.com.

Online Entry is open. Our target is 1000 plus cyclists and we hope to raise 50,000euro for the superb Cork based Charities nominated for
