Read below and find out more. But before you do here is our Midleton club connection - our colleague Sandra Bohan's brother Colin Carroll is the entrepreneur behind this concept.
Already a few of club members have indicated their intention to take part. Just log on to the paddygames web site for more info if you wish to try your hand at something different.

PLEASE NOTE – REGISTRATION DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED UNTIL WEDNESDAY 11TH @ 10PM – due to today’s technical difficulties with online sign-up. To represent your country in your chosen events sign up here or at Cork Tickets on Washington St., Cork. Get off the fence and into the starting blocks

Paddy Games is an international sports event open to competitors who wish to represent their country in a range of liberating athletic manoeuvres.
Athletes, adventurers, daredevils, pioneers, champs and rookies are all invited to compete in Cork’s Mardyke Sports Ground at 10am Saturday August 14th. The Paddy Games is open to all you do not need to be an athlete to compete. Remember this is not for elite athletes, its for real people of all ages, shapes and levels of fitness who just want to have some FUN!
Whether you’re signing up on your own or with friends once registered we’ll take care of joining you up with your national team. In the run up to August 14th we’ll be contacting contestants and arranging national team ‘meet and greets’ where you can meet your fellow countrymen while sizing up the competition!
So if you’ve got a particular event (or 5!) in mind, make sure you’re not left as a spectator and register now. Places are limited for each competition and they’re filling up fast! It’sYOU that will make the Paddy Games a global spectacle.
