LET'S GET OUT OUT AND CHEER OUR COLLEAGUES ON DURING THE COURSE OF THE BIG RACE.

Remember the post Marathon get together at Maple Leaf Bar Midleton from 8.30pm on Monday

 

The Marathon begins at 9am in Patrick Street.

he half marathon is now full at 1,800.

The start time for the half marathon will be 11am. Buses will take people from City Hall to Skehard Road (5 minutes or so walk to start line) from 9.45 to 10.30. It’s a short window of time, so please don’t leave to the last minute.

Those who have a form in the post for the marathon or team relay this week are okay for entry.

Water Stations & Energy Drinks

Please note that the energy drink will be Lucozade Sports (orange) and we won’t be providing gels on the course.

Here’s the line-up for the water stations.

There will be 14 water stations on the course, with additional water available at the start of the half marathon and at the finish line. The water will be a mix of bottles and cups. Mains drinking water will be available at 5 stations across the course. The energy drink will be Lucozade Sports, which will be distributed in cups.
