Kinsale Regatta 5Mile
Some powerful running from our crew last night at the Kinsale Regatta 5 Mile where they posted some great times. Michael McNamara did what he has been promising for a while and broke the forty minute mark and got a new PB of 39.27 whilst Aoife Fouhy did 36.27 and Anne Marie Perry 38.17 and Siobhan Savage 42.36. Francis Maunsell had a fantastic run breaking the thirty minute barrier with 29.29 and Mike Cremin also a great run with 31.08.
As you will all be aware there will be no official training on Monday due to the Bank Holiday but Donie recommends that you run the Cloyne 5km instead as a practice run.
Best of luck to everyone running this weekend and please keep the blog posted with your news email@example.com
Don't forget that you can pre reg for Cloyne 5kM at the Community Centre Midleton on Tue evening from 6 - 8pm. This is open to all and not just club members. Please pass the word around as it really helps the organisers to have as many as possible registered before the night.
Also if you are not running and able to help out please contact Margaret Twohig 087 2094493.
