County Road Championships

The Cork AAI 2016 County Road Championships will take place in Castlelyons, at 10am, on Thursday March 17th next.  Race HQ is Castlelyons Community Hall.  The event will be organised and hosted by St Nicholas AC.  Unfortunately, we were unable to host it again this year due to both the bad state of the roads and lack of volunteers for stewarding.  However, it would be great if we could field teams in all categories (Novice men, novice women, Master's men o/35 and o/50, and Master's women o/35 and o/50), as well as Masters' men and women individually competing in your appropriate age category (o/35, o40, o/45, o/50, o/55, o/60, o/65, o/70, o/75).
All entries must be done through our competition secretary, Sally Drennan (thedrennans@eircom.net), so please let her know if you wish to enter on or before Sunday to allow her enough time to make the deadline on Monday.  Let her know which event you wish to enter (Master and/or Novice) and in the case of a Master, your age category on the date of the race.

The entry fee is €5 per athlete per event, but as it is a Championship race, the club will pay the additional €5 payable should anyone be eligible to run as both a Master and a Novice.  We will collect the entry fee on the day of the race.
