Cloyne 4Km

Once again we had a fine crew out in Cloyne supporting local races and once again we had some fine runs. Eileen Leahy finished second overall and Paul Spiteri was our first man home. Anne Marie Perry had a very fine run especially considering she at last "Took The Challenge " and did the Donoughmore 7mile last Friday night.

Run Killarney Half Marathon

Great running from our crew down in Killarney this morning. With a tough start because of the fog obscuring the scenery but they way these guys were running there was not much time for looking at the scenery anyway. Well done all  David Moynihan 1.24 Eugene McCarthy 1.25 Declan Dorgan 1.28. and Maire Walsh also had a fine run .

Donoughmore 7

( Thanks to Kathleen O'Connell for the photo)
As always we were well represented at this tough one and our members recorded fine runs including Ann Marie Perry, Karol Watson, Donie O'Connell, Michael McNamara along with Alan Morley who had a particularly fine run getting himself another PB. That's two PBs for him in the one week.

Best of luck to everyone running this weekend. There are a few races on including Donoughmore 7 Mile on Friday ( a great race but a tough one) and Cloyne on Sunday.
Best of luck to David Moynihan and all the crew  who will be doing the half marathon in Killarney on Saturday. What a way to start your holiday. Please keep me posted on any other events and races members take part in  Danny
