Ballymacoda 4 Mile

Message from the organisers.

With final preparations in full swing for this years Ballymacoda 4 Mile walk and race. I just wanted to give you some information on the race. Last year was our first year as a 4 mile route and the feedback was very complimentary, with many of the runners achieving a 4 mile personal best on what was described as, as fast a route you will come across for a 4 miler in cork county. The male course record is held by Kevin O Leary in a time of 21:14 and the female record is held by Fiona Santry in a time of 23:33. This year there is a €100 bonus for the first male and female to break these records. So best of luck to all and we hope you all achieve your own personal goals from the first across the line to the last.
