Midleton AC Virtual 5 k Series!
Week 3: UPDATED RESULTS
Well done to all that participated again this week. Numbers were down slightly on other weeks as pressures stemming from people returning to work, people resting tired bodies and preparations for one last big effort in our last Virtual 5k race next week still saw 31 athletes compete this week. Once again there were some very impressive results from a large number of people with Eileen Leahy being first woman home and Tim Hannon posting the fastest time for men.
This week once again saw some very commendable times being posted by athletes and it's great to watch the progress of runners that have successfully posted slightly faster times every week since the start!
Well done to all of you that have participated in some or all of our races these past 3 weeks. As you know, the aim of this series is to track the improvements made by runners over a 4 week period with the first run setting the benchmark that each runner will be competing against. Next week is the final run in this series.

Week 4 – Our last virtual 5k run for this year – starts on Tuesday 26th May and results need to be in by 9pm Wednesday 27th.
