WEEKEND RUNAROUND

Midleton Flood Relief Fund

Midleton Flood Relief Fund

In response to the recent flooding which devastated the town, it was decided at our last club committee meeting to hold a raffle with the money raised to contribute to the Midleton Flood Relief Fund. This is a highly worthy cause to show support for our community.
Over the next few weeks at training, we will have tickets for this raffle available.
The draw will take place at the Captain’s Run on 23rd December at Barryscourt Castle.
This raffle is confined to just club members.
The funds raised at the Captain’s Run will also be donated to the Flood Relief Fund.

Prize: €200 worth of sports shop vouchers
Tickets: €10 each
Special thanks to John Buckley Sports and The Edge

Bring money to training please.

The Great Glenville  4 Mile Run

This took place on Sunday morning organised by Watergrasshill AC and what a great job they did too. We had six runners there and all ran very well. Leonard Healy, David Curtin, Mark Fuller and Aidan Browne. With our two ladies just missing out on prizes Amanda Cooney and Joan McCarthy. Well done Watergrasshill AC on such a great event.

WEEKEND RUNAROUND

Cloyne 4Km

Thanks to Siobhan Murphy for the extra photos.

BHAA Marina

We had two runners in the Marina on Sunday morning Amanda Cooney and Joan McCarthy and both had fine runs over a windy course. The spread after took place in a fully fledged restaurant serving hot soup, hot chicken and sandwiches You also had a choice of what type of coffee you would like. I never seen the likes in all my years running.

We had four runners in the Churchtown 10 Mile on Saturday morning flying he flag for Midleton AC " A tough hilly course but the scenery kept them going "as per Martha. Well done ladies and thanks for the report Martha. Kevin Smith also had a very fine run coming home in under 70min
