Blast From The Past

Twenty years ago today we ran the last race of the millinium organised by Duhallow AC. I recall that at the time there was some great hype about it and to cap things off they had a special memorial plate for all finishers.
We had the mugs from Ballycotton 10 and now the plate from Duhallow. I recall Donie and Kathleen O'Connell were also there as was the great and much lamented Frankie Devlin who won 1st O/45 on the day.
The following day we took the road to Bandon for the Bandon 5 which was the first race of the new millinium. I cannot recall what we got that day but it definately was not a saucer. Danny
