Hi All

Please see attached this year's race flyer - I would appreciate if as always you can share/download and spread the word.
All proceeds go towards to the development and upkeep of Ballintotis Community Centre.

The race committee are delighted to welcome Ahern's Centra on board as one the main sponsors of the event. Simon Ahern of Ahern's Centra Castlemarty, Killeagh and Carrigtwohill will take over sponsorship of the by now coveted Ballintotis Running Buff, which will given to each participant on the night. We extend a sincere word of thanks to Simon and his team for his very valued backing of the event
Again this year's race offers great value for money with a very attractive prize structure overall and a full list of category prizes in all age groups (1st 2nd and 3rd) as well as the opportunity to win one of the many spot prizes on offer. Castlemartyr Resort will again sponsor the top prize which this year is a Weekend Away for 2 people for both the male and female winners. Trabolgan Holiday Village have again confirmed that they will sponsor a  Family Weekend Away or Mid Week stay for the both the race runner up and ladies runner up.  Once more Garryvoe Hotel Leisure Centre have come on board with a magnifcinet prize for the third runners home, in the shape of six months membership to their superb facility.  Market Green Shopping Centre and Ballintotis Fit4Life Club have also been confirmed as amongst the other main race sponsors.
The Ballintotis 4 Mile Road Race is held each year in association with East Cork A.C and regularly attracts in the region of 1,000 runners - looking forward to seeing you all again by the Lakeside on April 19th!

What A Day For Our Club
Great Results

Deidre Aherne Wins Her First Ever Race

Midleton AC Win Female and Male in Cloyne

Ann Geary 2nd Overall in Carrigaline 5mile

 Cloyne 4Km

What once again was a fantastic day for the club. We saw some absolutely brilliant racing. Once again Frank O'Brien won the Cloyne 4km  whilst it give me huge pleasure to announce that Deidre Aherne won her first race ever when today she took 1st Lady overall in Cloyne.
Deidre who has been displaying great running in training has now turned the hard work into the reality of winning. Eileen Leahy also had a fine run in coming 2nd Lady.

Our first man home was Kevin Smith who displayed some fantastic finishing speed in holding off the opposition.

 Carrigaline 5

We also had some great running in Carrigaline 5Mile with Ann Geary coming 2nd Lady overall and lots of other individual winners.
Neilus Aherne came 2nd O/60 with a fantastic finish which was worth going all the way just to see.
Other ladies who got prizes were Sheila Buckley 2nd O/35, Margaret Jones 2nd O/45 and
Joan McCarthy 2nd O/60.

Spoiled With Choice

Carrigaline 5Mile

A great race organised by Eagle AC who have been great supporters of our own race. Traditionally this was the big one before Ballycotton and a good tester to see where one is at.

Cloyne 4 Km

Always a very well organised event with lots of families running.
