Ballymacoda 4 Mile

Nice One Ger

A great nights racing was had at the Ballymacoda 4 Mile where we had lots of prizewinners and some great runs but the highlight of the night must be the fact that Ger O'Regan broke that elusive 24 min for the four miles with a mighty run. Following his instructions to a tee he manage to get in under the twenty four.

It was a great evening all round for the club with a truck load of prizes.

Loveness Hegarty 2nd O/35. Margaret Jones 1st O/50, Martha McNamara 2nd O/60 Kathleen O'Connell 1st O/65.

 Ger O'Regan 3rd O/50 Marc Walsh 1st O/60 Donie O'Connell 1st O/70.

Everyone got prizes except poor Bernie, Woe is me

Eagle AC FOTA 5Km

Around one thousand signed up for the annual Fota 5Km on Thursday evening which was a lovely evening for running. The race was won by Alan O'Shea with Carol Finn the 1st Lady.

Our first man home was Henry Milward and our first lady was Collette Dalton. We had a good number of runners there and apologies to anyone whose photo I missed.
