TRAINING

Training resumes on Monday 8th Jan @ 6pm

Togher 5Km

We had five runners here today in what were described as horrendous conditions, Bernadette Twomey running on her home turf .Along with Amanda Cooney, Joseph Power, Mark Fuller and Ian Kohler. Well done all.

Grange Fermoy 10Km

In equally horrendous conditions we had four runners at the Grange Fermoy 10Km. A very well organised race. Our first man home was Mark Cronin getting another PB and breaking the forty minute barrier in 39.40. Shortly behind him was Derek Ahern who was again followed by Ger O'Regan. David Curtin had a fine run also auguring well for Dungarvan. The conditions were really bad over a tough course with the rain stopping and starting all the way. Well done all.

The Captain's Run

As always we had a great crowd at the Captain's Run which was held this morning the 23rd Decenber. With big thanks to Ger, Edmond and Declan for organising the after run spread of tea ,coffee, sweets etc.

We collected 509Euro in donations and our in - club raffle raised 920Euro so we will be presenting 1500Euro to Midleton Flood Relief. 

Thanks to everyone who donated and bought tickets.

Our prize winners were 1st Prize Claire Fitzgerald. 2nd David Curtin and 3rd Mary B Walsh. Well done all and thanks to The Edge and John Buckley Sports who sponsored some of the prizes also to Siobhan Murphy and Tony and Sharon Murray who donated  other prizes.

It all just doesn't happen by itself Edmond and Ger
