Registration is now overdue
If you intend registering with the club please do so now or inform us of your intention of doing so as we will very shortly be editing our What's App Groups and removing Non Members from them.
Also once you pay it may take two or three days to get registered with Athletics Ireland which may delay you entering a race .So avoid any delays and register now
Senior Section Annual Meeting
This takes place in MyPlace at 8pm on 25th Feburary. All Senior Section members are invited to attend.
At training on Monday evening Club Captain Ger O'Regan presented representatives from Midleton Meals On Wheels with a cheque for 1500euro raised from out Captains Run on Christmas Eve, Thanks to all who contributed.
Kerins O'Rahilly's 5Km Tralee
2nd Lady Rosie Young
On a miserable wet and windy morning in Tralee Rosie Young braved the elements in the Kerin's O'Rahilly 5 Km and finished 2nd lady and 8th overall.Well done Rosie great running as always. Lovely to be winning prizes on your home turf.
The 14th running of the Ballintotis 4 mile road race, hosted by Ballintotis Area Community Council and held in association with East Cork AC, will take place this year on Wednesday April 16th - please note the new start time is 7.45pm.
Entries for what is now one of the most popular 4 mile races in the land will open on this Saturday February 1st at 9am - at eventmaster.ie. Please follow this link

Registration costs €15 including service charge, (non athletics Ireland members will have to pay an additional €2) . Also there is the option of availing of your race number being posted out for an additional cost. Race numbers can also be collected Tuesday April 15th (5pm to 8pm) or on race day Wed 16th from 1pm at Ballintotis Community Centre.
Just like 2024, this year's race will also incorporate the Cork County Road Championships.

2nd O/60 for Martha
This took place on a very wet and miserable Sunday morning but still attracted 667 runners. We had some members there. Our first and only man home was Fergal O'Meara who is improving with every race and our first lady home was the ever consistent Bernadette Twomey. Martha McNamara had a good run also and took 2nd O/60F prize. Our two other runners Margaret Twohig Anglin and Eimear O'Mullane had fine runs also.
PRESENTATION
We will be presenting 1,500e tomorrow evening to Midleton Meals On Wheels at 6pm at training. All members welcome evenif you are not training.
