Captain’s Run 2021

Midleton Athletics Club invites all members and their families to our annual Christmas Run!

This year’s event will once again start (and finish) outside Barryscourt Castle in Carrigtwohill at 9.30am sharp and the course can be either 5km, 3km or shorter depending ability level.

Entry is free but we will be collecting for the Midleton Meals on Wheels charity ( Facebook page - Midleton Meals on Wheels | Facebook ) and all donations will be welcome.

Teas, coffees and biscuits will be provided at the finish line along with some treats for our younger participants!

 

Please note in light of current restrictions we ask participants to exercise caution. Hand sanitisers will be at the start line and we will do everything possible to ensure the safety of all participants but we ask all our members to abide by the following guidelines;

-          We will not gather in one large group at the start line; instead, runners will start in smaller groups as they arrive at the start line. First group at 9.30 - last group at 9.45.

-          We ask all participants to wear face-masks before and after the race.

-          We ask that no one gathers at the tea / coffee area after the race. Please get your drink and move from that area.
