The club AGM takes place on Tuesday evening at 8pm in MyPlace we are asking for as many as possible of out members to attend. You will not get a job unless you want one but you opinion does count. So please come along if you can
Killeagh 4Mile
Sunday morning saw the annual Killeagh 4Mile take place in fine conditions for running. Almost two hundred runners took part which was down on previous years but to be expected as there were two other races in Co Cork on the same day. As usual several of our members took part. Our first runners home was Ger O'Regan having another fine run and our first lady was Caroline Geary who also took 2nd O/45 which was an excellent result as she is just returning to running after illness. The race was very well organised as always with a fine spread after but they really would want to look at their master's prizes as the number of prizes was quite poor.
A highlight for the club was that three of our runners from our current C2 5K group took part and excelled themselves by completing the 4 Mile route in a very respectable time. Mairead Rohan, Neasa Daly and Laura Cosgrove . Well done ladies ye did yourselves and the club proud.
