This week all attention will focus on the
Ballycotton 5 Mile Summer Series - Race 4 of 4 begins in Ballycotton at 7.30pm
on Thursday.
A glance at the Ballycotton Running website is
advised for anybody who has completed all 3 races to date as the overall
standings feature plenty of Midleton A.C runners. Well done to all and the very
best wishes to ou rlarge contingent on Thursday.
Remember the Top 50 men and the Top 20 Ladies
receive the coveted t shirts. There is also a well deserved plaque for all
complete the four races.
Elsewhere there is a 5K Fun Run/Race in Regional
Park, Ballincollig on Sunday
next, the Leisureworld 5 Mile Race, the latest addition to the Cork BHAA
calendar takes place also in Ballincollig on Wednesday week, whilst the Liscarrol 10K goes ahead on Friday week. There is also a 5K Fun
Run organsied at Inch near Killeagh on Friday week. Then on Wednesday September 5K,the Greenviille House 5K takes place in
Carrigtwohill. Please see the attached

With less than three weesk to go to the Cork Half
Marathon in Blarney, you can get more information by logging onto the St
Finbarr's AC website. Whilst entries will be taken on the day, it makes it
easier for everybody to enter in advance if you intending participating. The
Charleville Half Marathon and the Cork to Cobh Race are other likely options for
our Martahon crew who are all putting in a huge effort in advance of Dublin in
late October.

Workshop
There are still a few places available on Catherina
McKiernan's Chi running workshop which will be held on Saturday, 15 September at the CBS in Midleton from 10.00 am until 5.00
pm. Cost of the workshop for Midleton AC members is € 90.00 (full cost is €
110.00).
