Next Monday, 8 May. the Midleton AC Monday night training moves from the all-weather hockey pitch back to the Midleton College rugby pitch/cricket field. As before, it will be from 6.00 pm until 7.00 pm.
For those of you who don't know it, the field is at the end of the small residential road going away from the back of Super Valu. There is plenty of parking on the road at the back of the Super Valu carpark. While grass is the best surface to train on, some areas of the field may be a little rough, so just be aware of that.
There is no official training this Wed. evening due to our race on Thursday.

Sinead with her fan club holding the winners trophy
We saw some great running tonight from our crew in Ballynoe where everyone gave it their all. Sinead Keavney won the Ladies over all in a time of 11.22 sprinting clear on the famous hill to claim her victory. Our ladies team of Eileen Leahy, Louise Barry and Christine Murphy took bronze losing out by only one point for the silver. Our other ladies who ran supporting the team were Anne Marie Perry, Margaret Twohig, Emer Hayes and Joan McCarthy and all had fine runs.
Our men also had fine runs led home by Edwin Cashman in a time of 30.03 followed by David Moynihan in 30.20 followed on by Eugene McCarthy and Ger O'Regan. Unfortunately no medals for the men but well done all ye did your club proud. Danny
