BHAA Cross Country
We had four runners out here on Sunday on which to be honest is one of the toughest cross country courses around but one of the most fun races. Fionan O'hAodain made his cross country debut and came home smiling. What a great way to start the year and looking at him he seemed a natural.
Others running were Sheila Buckley 1st O/35 and Kathleen O'Connell 2nd O/60 and Donie O'Connell 2nd O/65.
The ladies team of Midleton Town Council consisting of Kathleen O'Connell and Sheila Buckley came 2nd Team Grade B. Well done all a great start to the New Year.
Ballincollig Park Run
Some class running here on Saturday by Edwin Cashman and Morgan O'Regan even though they were on a tempo run both finished in 19.13 coming 5th and 6th overall but 2nd and 3rd in official finishers. Well done guys.
Registration will commence on Monday evening at 5.40 at the "All Weather Training Session" (as soon as I collect Donie).
Please come early if you want to avoid a delay in your warm up.
We will also have registration on Wednesday evening from 6pm in the Community Centre again please come early to avoid a delay in your training session. You need to sign your membership form and if at all possible please bring the correct amount 70 euro in cash or cheque.
