The race committee are delighted to welcome Ahern's Centra on board as one the main sponsors of the event. WEEKEND RUNAROUND
Cloyne 4Km
What once again was a fantastic day for the club. We saw some absolutely brilliant racing. Once again Frank O'Brien won the Cloyne 4km whilst it give me huge pleasure to announce that Deidre Aherne won her first race ever when today she took 1st Lady overall in Cloyne.
Deidre who has been displaying great running in training has now turned the hard work into the reality of winning. Eileen Leahy also had a fine run in coming 2nd Lady.
Our first man home was Kevin Smith who displayed some fantastic finishing speed in holding off the opposition.
Spoiled With Choice
Carrigaline 5Mile
A great race organised by Eagle AC who have been great supporters of our own race. Traditionally this was the big one before Ballycotton and a good tester to see where one is at.
Cloyne 4 Km
Always a very well organised event with lots of families running.
Registration is now due. You can join the club anytime but you need to be registered to be insured to train with the club and to run under the club's name. (This could effect team prizes etc.)
I do not make the rules but any problems please talk to me. Instalments are available for anyone who wants them. Danny
