Munster Masters Indoor Track and Field Championships

The Munster Masters Indoor Track and Field Championships take place in Nenagh on 9/10 February.  If anyone would like to consider running there, the schedule of events can be found on the Munster athletics website.  The 3000m takes place on Saturday, 9 February and the 1500m is on the Sunday.  These are probably the most likely events for any of our senior athletes to be entering, but there are lots of other events too.
If you would like to enter, please let me know by Monday, 4 February.
Kind regards,
Sally Drennan

Cross Country Midleton AC Athletes on TG4

It is wonderful to see some of our younger athletes representing Ireland at the Celtic International Cross Country in Northern Ireland last Saturday. Well done Tamzin Muldowney, Paul Hartnett and Frank O'Brien. A great and informative full report by Joan Hough can be found at https://www.facebook.com/MidletonAC.Juveniles/
also you can look back at the races on Saturday morning TG4 at 11am or get them on TG4 player. Tamzin is in the second race and Paul and Frank are in the last race but all races are well worth watching. Danny.

WEEKEND RUNAROUND

Cloyne 4Km Race 3

A fine bright crispy Sunday morning saw a big crew from our club out supporting the Cloyne 4Km race. This was the third race in the series and our first man home was once again Barry O'Shea followed by Tim Hannon and Kevin Smith. Our first lady was Eileen Leahy. All had fine runs considering the strong wind mid way and as always the event was well organised.

Ballyhoura Midnight Marathon

A big well done to club members Mick Murphy and Mike Hallahan who both did the Ballyhaoura Midnight Marathon on Friday night and also to Barry Williams who did the half marathon.

The third race in the excellent Cloyne 4Km takes place this Sunday

Bus to Dungarvan 10

If you are interested in getting a bus to the Dungarvan 10 please text 0861931338 by Sunday next so we can see if we have sufficient numbers.
