Novartis 5Km
Great Racing and Lots Of Prizes Once Again
Tonight at Novartis saw some top class running and a race well worth watching. There was a total of three hundred and fifty five runners plus a new course record of 14.31 worth 500 euro to the winner.
We had lots of winners there ourselves with Sheila Buckley 2nd O/35 and Marie Gillman 2nd O/55. Whilst our men Edmond O'Sullivan came 1st O/55 with a top class run and the ever reliable Donie O'Connell took 2nd O/65.
A great night was had with lots of spot prizes and the usual top class spread for which Novartis are famous.
Next weeks BHAA race is in Ringaskiddy also in the Community Hall at 8pm More details to follow.

John Cashman had a very firn run here on Friday evening where he clocked 41.59 and took 2nd O/55. Hid fellow traveller Neilus Aherne gave it a skip due to a slight niggle.
Garryvoe 5Km
A great crowd of two hundred and sixty six turned up here on Thursday evening which was well up on last year. The was a fine crowd from the club and all ran well. There were only prizes for the first three in ladies and men and we narrowly lost out.
