RACE ROUND UP

Togher 5Km

Sunday 29th saw the Togher 5Km take place in ideal conditions. A total of seven hundred and seventy nine runners finished the race. We saw some great racing up front with both the Male and Female course records being broken by Rory O'Connor North Cork AC and Michelle Finn Levale AC.
Our first man home was Frank O'Brien 15.55 finishing 10th overall and he was followed by Barry O'Shea 17.06 and 25th overall. All the others seemed to have fine runs also.

OUR PRIZEWINNERS

John Cashman 1st O/55
Neilus Aherne 1st O/60
Michael McNamara 3rd O/65
Joan Hough 3rd O/60

Belgooly 4 Mile

Well done to everyone who did the GOAL Mile on Christmas Day and to our brave souls who faced the wind and rain in Belgooly on St Stephen's Day.
