 Munster Masters Cross Country

In spite of some of our athletes running with injuries and others being unavailable to run we had a very successful day of cross country running last Sunday, winning  team and individual medals.  I now hope we can build on that and do well at the Munster masters cross country which is on Sunday, 28 November in Clarecastle, Co. Clare.  The women's race is 4000 m and the men will run 8000m.

In addition, there is a new interesting sounding relay for one age group covering Junior to 34 years.  Clubs can put forward teams of men, women or mixed teams. It is 4 x 1000m. The juvenile section may have some junior athletes who would like to run this.  It would be great if we could put a team together for this new event. Would any of our athletes who have not yet hit masters status like to give this a go?  If so, please contact me as soon as possible so we can organise teams.

So anyone who wants to run in the Masters or the relay please let me know.

Kind regards
