Great results for our club.
A great days racing was held in Dungourney on Sunday with a huge crowd in attendance our crews acquitted themselves very well and everyone gave their all. Our Ladies Team of Sinead O'Driscoll, Susan McGrath, Lovness Hegarty, Louise Barry, Christine Murphy, Joan Hough and Margaret Twohig all ran well with Sinead coming 4th overall. Loveness ( 3Rd O/35) despite injury ran a great race once again as did all the ladies.
All our men ran really well also John Hennessy had a great run despite having represented Ireland in Belfast yesterday and had an eight hour drive after he still made it to the start line today. Ger O'Regan who was also injured ran a gallant race as did Fergal O'Meara, Mike Hallihan and Paul Kearns.
A BIG thanks to all who came out to support.
Thomas Kent 10Km

IRELAND'S CALL
Delighted to report that our member John Hennessy got the call to run for Ireland and he answered the call in fine style on Saturday. John described it as " tough race, very fast but survived it in one piece". Well done John what an honor to have a member running for our country.
