Coffee n Cake Fun Run

What a fantastic morning we had on Sunday morning when Capt. Declan Dorgan organised the Coffee n Cake Fun Run. We had wonderful weather and a great crowd who ran four miles of the famous Midleton 5 Race route. The idea was that everyone would finish together more or less around 9.45 so each person started at the own time that would enable them to run four miles and finish at that time.

It worked out extremely well and then we all adjourned to the Coffee shop in Bailick car park where we were superbly catered for in fine style with no delays and a beautiful choice of cakes.

A Big Congrats to our C2 5K Group who instead of doing the usual 5Km (3.1 miles) opted to do the 4 Miles instead and all came home in flying colours. Well done all ye did yourselves proud.

Big thanks also to everyone who came out to support and help out.

RACE NEWS

Tony Murray did the Youghal Park Run on Saturday and had a great run where he cracked the 21minute barrier. Well done Tony great running.

Michelle Dorney ran her first race of the year the the Rebel Run and had a fine run. Whilst Fergal O'Meara and Kevin Morrison both travelled to North Cork to run the Buttevant where they both had excellent runs. Great to see ye back racing guys.
