Our Ladies Clean Up In Cloyne

Thursday evening saw some great running in the Cloyne 5Km with Vicki Spiteri having a great run moving from fourth to third overall in the last 200m whilst Andrea McNamara making a comeback to shorter distance finished 2nd O/35. Sinead Falvey had a fine run on her home turf to take 2nd O/40. Breda Sheedy showing that she is recovered from her brilliant marathon run came 1st O/55 and Joan McCarthy having her usual solid run came 1st O/65. Katie Hennessy had a great run to take 1st Female Junior. 

Our first man home was Darren Aherne in 17.30

Well done to all who ran. It was great to see so many from our club supporting local races.

DePuy Synthes 4 Mile

This took place on a beautiful Wednesday evening in Ringaskiddy. We had two runners there Barry Drennen and Amanda Cooney.

Amanda had a very good run and came away with 2nd O/60. Well done Amanda

Entries will be taken in Harty's Bar. Please use side entrance to access back area. Runners can change here too.

The results and prize giving will take place here after race.

SURVEY  

We are in discussions with Athletics Ireland about running some of their courses in the East Cork area.

If there is sufficient interest in particular courses we can try and arrange for these to be run locally.

I have included a link below to a very quick survey.  We are not collecting any names, email addresses, club details etc as part of this survey.

Coolagowan 10Km

The Coolagowan 10Km took place on Thursday evening over a tough and hilly course. We had two runners taking part Donie O'Connell who would have won the 0/70 if there was an 0/70 and Amanda Cooney who also had a fine run. The spread after was up to the usual fantastic Coolagowan spread.
