East Cork Track Next Tuesday

This event takes place next Tuesday and is organised by our own John Hennessy and Mike Dorney with the East Cork Division. It is confined to clubs within the East Cork Division.

Look at the list there is something there for everyone. Come on guys and gals support an event organised by your own members.

 This is a really nice friendly evening and even if you are injured or can't run come out and support but bring your running gear or else you will be sorry. Its such a fun night that you will want to join in. There are prizes in age categories as well so everyone will be in with a chance.

Please don't hesitate it is guaranteed you will enjoy the night.

Donoughamore 7 Mile

We had two runners here on Thursday evening where we saw some great racing. This is a tough serious race and not for the faint hearted. The slogan is "Take The Challenge" 

We had two runners there from our club. Darren Aherne making his debut in the Midleton AC singlet (thanks Declan Dorgan for the loan) and Darren clocked the excellent time of  43.23 and finished 22nd overall. Michael Kenneally also ran an excellent race. There were two hundred and twenty one finishers whic was a fine number considering there were already two races this week.

Some other members had a lovely evening Trail Running on the Ballycotton Cliff Walk.
