The Loneliness Of The Cross Country Runner
The County Senior Cross County Championships took place in Conna on Sunday 5th October We had one runner there Rod Scanlan. Rod ran a great race coming in 29th place in under 30min as he aimed to do. He had a fantastic finish passing another athlete in the last fifty meters in a great sprint finish. Well done Rod you did us proud as always

Amanda Cooney did the Galway Bay Half Marathon on Saturday in the torrential rain and was nearly blown into the sea.
