Registration is now overdue.

Anyone NOT registered please do NOT enter races as a Midleton AC athlete as this may effect team prizes/placings etc. Registration may take two to three days so please allow yourself time if wanting to enter races etc. also you will not get the benefit of reduced entry fees and will be charged the non Athletics Ireland rate.

National Masters Cross Country Championships

GOLD for Edmond with the Cork Team

We had two representatives from the club at the National Masters Championships in Westport Co Mayo (a long way for a race) on the grounds of Westport House and both had very solid races. Andre Brodkorb finished 20th O/55 and Edmond O'Sullivan 8th O/60 and helped win  GOLD for the Cork team. Making the long journey all the more worthwhile Well done guys for doing us proud as always

Janssen BHAA 5Km  

The ever popular Janssen 5km took place in Little Island on the usual course on Sunday morning. As per usual we had a nice number of runners there. John Cashman was our first runner home and claimed 3rd O/60 prize. Kathleen Ryan was our first lady and she took 2nd O/35 and also led the Stryker Team to 2nd team prize. On an ideal morning for running all others had fine runs also.

The One and Only Billy Griffin

This is the one and only Billy Griffin who at eighty five  ran his first Parkrun last Saturday. He will be eighty six next month and has been a long long time member of our club. Congratulations on another fine run Billy

Eagle AC 5mile in Carrigaline next Sunday at 11am. 

Please consider doing this race as Eagle AC are great supporters of our race and regularly have 30 -40 athletes competing in Midleton and we should support them in return.
