John Buckley 5Km

Tuesday evening saw the annual John Buckley 5km take place in the Marina. The evening started bad with huge traffic delays taking at least an hour and a quarter to get from Midleton to Cork and then the course appears to have been 350m too long so times are out somewhat.

Putting all that aside we had a good number of runners there and all ran well. Of course we were in the prizes with Kathleen Ryan 2nd O/35. Edmond O'Sullivan 2nd O/60, John Cashman 3rd O/60 and Neilus Aherne 1st O/70 . There was a massive crowd there.
