WEEKEND RUNAROUND

What A Sad Day For Irish Athletics

Munster u23 Cross Country

The Munster Senior and U23 Cross Country Championships took place in Conna today. We had only one athlete there Emma Bell who ran a fine race to finish 6th U23 Well done Emma.

This was only twenty minutes out the road and the facts are that unless these events are better supported we won't benefit from having them on our doorstep in the future.

The next Cross Country event in East Cork takes place on 14th December the day after our Xmas Party and if you are able to party you are able to run.

This is a very good and well organised local race.
