Midleton 5 Mile Road Race Official Launch

A large crowd gathered in Market Green Midleton for the official launch of the Midleton 5 Mile Joe Hourigan Memorial Road Race. The race takes place at 8pm on the 2nd May over its usual fast circuit and this year Marc Dalton Race Director has introduced pacers for all levels of runners up to 12 minute milers.
This innovative idea makes sure that all levels of runners are catered for and helped achieve their desired time. There is no other 5 mile race around that caters for runners in this way. Official Club Gear

We will be putting in an order soon for the new Midleton AC jackets, white only.

 

If anyone is interested in buying one, can they can contact myself or Gillian and have a form completed which we will collect on Monday at speed training.  Cost of jacket is €50 (subsidised by the club, real cost €56)

 

For the moment we have a good supply of the jackets in black and also of the new singlets if anyone is looking to purchase especially for our own race in May.
