5 DAYS TO GO TO ---
BALLYCOTTON 2010

The organisers will be packing the famous Ballycotton ‘10’ mugs later this week. As always as much help as possible is required to ensure the job is completed quickly. Traditionally members of Midleton AC have played their part, so if you can lend a hand later in the week, either on Thursday or Friday evening at the Ballycotton School Hall (exact date to be confirmed, it would be much appreciated. Watch this space for updates!

==========================================

As mentioned yesterday our club is asking you to predict your chip time at the end of the race. We will have some prizes for the winners at our post race dinner on Sunday evening. So why not join in ?Send you predicted finishing time via

e mail to John Cashman or text to Danny McCarthy on 087-2403940

Already we have had contact from a number of members, so keep those predictions coming in before now and Friday.

Please inform your colleagues regarding this competition as not all of our members are on our e mail list.

There is plenty of interest in our post race meal at Water Rock House. Remember to book and pay in advance if you wish to attend - it's 15 euro for paid up members and 19 for partners.

- Give a shout to Edmond O Sullivan or any member of the social committee. Alternatively drop an e mail back to me.

Another reminder that help is always required with stewarding etc on the big day. If you are not running or know somebody who would be willing to lend a hand please contact Tommy Hartnett of Ballycotton Running Promotions on 086-2386390.

Don’t forget that tomorrow there is one more opportunity for runners to gauge their form before Ballycotton as Rising Sun AC will host the Paddy Desmond Memorial ‘4’ Mile Race in Ballinhassig at 11am. Jimmy Murray (086-3320461) will be pleased to furnish any further information to intending participants.
