Run Killarney 10Km
Some pictures from Keva Crotty of the Killarney 10Km last weekend.
Dripsey 5Km +++
John Dunphy did the Dripsey 5km on Sunday or at least he thought he was doing it but it turned out to be 3.5 miles instead of 3.1 miles. Either way John had a fine run coming 3rd overall in a time of 22.47. John described it as the toughest course he ever ran and John has run a lot of courses so he knows what he is talking about.
Tullamore Track
Great running once again on Sunday when Margaret Jones ventures to the Masters in Tullamore. Margaret who is new to the track once again excelled herself coming 4th in her category in a time of 11.35 for 3000m knocking seven seconds off her PB. which was done under very windy conditions. Well done once again Margaret you did your club proud.
Churchtown South
Another great night for the club in Churchtown South 5 Mile with our ladies taking 1st Team once again led hope by Sheila Buckley who is having a great season was 4th Lady over all and then Eileen Leahy 5th Lady overall closely followed by Vicki Cleary 6th Lady. Great credit for the victory must go to Vicki as she was injured earlier in the week but still managed to strap herself up and pull off a great run. Marie Gillman came 2nd O/50 and Martha McNamara was 1st O/55. Margaret Barry on her home turf came 1st O/65 and Nora O'Brien was 1st Jnr.
