As said on the blog last weekend Christopher McCarthy was running well and today he got a new PB and broke the seventy as predicted with a time 69 mins.  Morgan O'Regan, Shane Foley and Francis Maunsell had mighty runs - Morgan and Shane dipped under 62 mins and Francis was hot on their heels, with Shane and Francis getting PBs.  Ger McLean also got a PB in 63:27, and Don Ryan had a fine run comfortably breaking 65 mins.  Another PB from Louise Barry who broke the 75 mins, followed closely by Yvonne Fitzgerald, Marie Gillman and Eileen Leahy.  Anne-Marie Perry also had a great run and a PB.  Shevaun Hogan had a fine run - her first Ballycotton and only second 10-miler coming in around the 90 min mark.  Joan McCarthy had a very solid run as had Rosarii Griffin.  Brian Cott who has barely had time to train lately did a great time of 68 mins.. Aoife Fouhy had a spectacular run knocking five minutes off last years time and got a new PB by two minutes in 77.45. Trevor Condon also had a great run breaking the seventy Minute barrier with 69.06 and a PB to boot. Claire Parker and Karen Knowles both first timers had great runs and are looking forward to next year already.
