Back On The Grass
Don't forget we are back in the Cricket Field tomorrow evening at 6pm. and don't forget
The East Cork Road Racing Championships take place in Ballynoe (about ten minutes beyond Dongourney) on Thursday 28th April
We always have a great crew there and this year hopefully we will have more than ever this year. Guys its our 50th Anniversary and what better way to celebrate than having a bunch of East Cork medals.
These events are open to all our members from the slowest to the fastest and it would be great to have a mass of the green, white and black out there.
The Ladies race starts at 7.30 and is 3Km this year (formerly 2Km) but don't worry the extra 1Km is flat and there is no lady in the club that cannot run 3 Km so ladies come out and represent your club we will be delighted to see you.
The gents race is 5Miles (no change) and is at 8pm again lads please come out and support the club. Don't believe the rumours that its a tough hill that's only spread by people who never ran it.
I know there are a lot of races around these weeks but do give the Championships consideration as there is only one East Cork Championships there are lots of BHAA events. Danny
