WEEKEND RUNAROUND

Cobh

A few shots of Cobh 4 Mile

LIMERICK MARATHON

The Three Amigo's with their especially designed "Louise Barry Specials" outfits before the race.

The Three Amigo's left Midleton around 6am this morning and did they do a good job. They went out exactly as planned and kept the pace all the way. Helen Sheehan was the one they blamed but in the end she was also the one they thanked because they came home with amazing results and exactly as they planned. Paula O'Sullivan 4.14.36, Helen Sheehan 4.14.41 and Mags Mulcahy 4.26.33. Tracking the girls online and seeing how consistent they were was amazing. This was their first marathon something that when mentioned a year ago they only laughed at the thought of but now they are laughing with delight. An amazing achievement your club is truly proud of ye as we always are. Well done ladies Take a bow ye deserve it.

LIMERICK HALF MARATHON

Morgan O'Regan was our man in the Half today and he came home with a great result and a PB to booth whilst he says he did 83 min the clock said 82.59 which is even better in an event where every second counts. Congrats Morgan delighted for you and you are looking good for Cork on the next long weekend.

There are lots of races this weekend so we wish everyone running the very best of luck and don't forget there is an important race next Thursday evening so please keep spreading the word.

The Three Amigos

Sunday sees the Limerick Marathon and we have at least three running there in their first marathon and we wish them the very best. The Three Amigos are Paula O'Sullivan, Margaret Mulcahy and Helen Sheehan have been hard at work for over six months and I have watched them every Saturday morning gradually increase the mileage from six to twenty one plus and now their big day is at hand. So girls all the club wish ye the very best on what we know will be an amazing and successful adventure for ye.

The very best of luck also to Morgan O'Regan who will be doing the Half in Limerick. Morgan who has been running great of late will hopefully have another PB there.
