Cork City Marathon Help Needed
Cork Athletics is looking for volunteers to spend a few hours stewarding the Cork City Marathon on Monday next, June 6th.
Monday's Cork City Marathon requires a considerable amount of volunteers to manage the event. A number of other organisations, along with several community groups, and Cork Athletics, cover the route. The Gardai, assisted by volunteers, cover the major junctions. Without all this volunteer support, and the Gardai, it would be impossible to hold the Marathon.
Cork Athletics covers a considerable number of Relay Changeover points, Intersections along with other locations. Currently Cork Athletics is short of manpower to cover quite a few locations , and is appealing for volunteers to contact Pat on 087-2354836.
