East Cork Track and Field
Wonderful running again today Sunday from our club members when we had Brian Harty 2nd overall in the 1500m and Andre Brodkorb 1st O/45 and Gerard McLean 3rd O/45. So delighted to see our members once again active on the track.
Don't forget that the Cork City Sports are on next Tuesday where you will get the chance to see some of our top athletes competing .
Waterford Viking Half Marathon
Another fantastic run by Neilus Aherne when he finished in 1.25.29 in the half marathon in Waterford today Saturday. What a man, what a runner and this is 0/60.
Also some fine running from Gillian Bransfield who was doing her first half and Bernie Twomey who had a fine run despite having an injury. Gillian wanted to acknowledge the support of Martin Drake East Cork Division Chairman who was a great help on the day.
COURTMACSHERRY 10 Km
Some great running on Friday once again from both David Moynihan ( 38.47) and Edwin Cashman ( 39.30) both finishing well up the field of over three hundred runners..
