Message from Capt. Declan Dorgan

Just a follow up on the email that was sent during the week. If you plan on attending training tomorrow and participating in our second rely event can you please fill out the jot form below. This will save us time tomorrow night and help us be a bit more organised re teams! If you're not sure if you're going to be at training that's okay too - just show up and we'll make sure everyone is included in some team.

Henry Milward in Moreabbey

A short note about the Mooreabbey 10 Mile this morning/afternoon in Galbally, very warm conditions but a well organised race on its first running I think. Up and down course with some steady drags but a good challenge. Didn't spot any other Midleton AC runners. I ran 1.04.53 good to have the races to do.
Well done Henry that's a great time in those conditions.

Midleton AC Ladies Excel Once Again

Wonderful running today by Breda Sheedy who had a great half marathon when she completed the Virtual Clonmel in the fine time of 1.46 and also to Catherine Sheridan who completed the Killarney Hardman Long Distance Triathlon today An amazing achievement Well done to both ladies.

For those that don't know (like myself) what's involved in a Hardman Long Distance its a 3,500m swim , a 180Km cycle and a full marathon (26.2miles)

Picture shows Catherine with her No 1 supporter Eve Barry. Sure Midleton AC supporters are everywhere. You cant run a race but they crop up when you most need them and least expect them.
