CHURCHTOWN 5Mile

How great to see racing coming back in earnest with another race on Friday night. It took us to North Cork for the Churchtown 5 Mile where we had three runners. Fergal O'Meara getting back on form was our first man home follow by Joe Power and our sole lady once again Amamda Cooney. All had fine runs in tough conditions.

Rathcormac 4Mile Thursday 19th

I have been at an awful lot of races in very many places but I never seen the likes of this before.

The entrance to an empty field no animals etc.

Rathcormac 4mile was held in ideal conditions on Thursday evening and we saw some really good racing. There was a maximum crowd there which consisted once again of a majority of Athletics Ireland club members.

We had a fine few there as can be seen from the photos and all did very well. Frank O'Brien was our first man home finishing 4th overall followed by John Hennessy who was 1st O/50. All the rest of our crew seemed to run very well also.
