WEEKEND RUNAROUND
GOLD FOR MIDLETON AC IN THE MUNSTER ROAD RACING CHAMPIONSHIPS
A fantastic result for our team in the Munster Road Racing Championships in Clare on Sunday when our team won Gold. Not only that but John Hennessy was 3rd O/50 and Edmond O'Sullivan was 3rd O/60. Well done all once again ye have done the club proud.
BHAA MTU 5Km
A lovely mornings racing was held on Sunday morning at the MTU track where the BHAA 5km was held.
We had a large crew there as always and all ran very well with Amanda Cooney taking 2nd O/60 and Joseph Power taking 2nd O/65. Along with that Maurice Ring got a PB and we witnessed an incredible finish from Paul Spiteri in a battle with the great Carol Finn down the finishing straight of the track with Paul holding on to win by a fraction. Well done everyone and great to see so many out racing. Apologies to those whose photos I missed.
Youghal Park Run
Well done to Henry Milward who finished 3rd here on Saturday and got a new Park Run PB and to Fionan O'hAodain who narrowly missed out on a PB.
