WEEKEND RUNAROUND

Strokestown 10Km

Well done to Michael Brirne who returned to his home turf to run the famous Strokestown 10Km this weekend.




Upcoming BHAA Race 

Musgrave S & S 5Km

The next race on the Cork BHAA calendar is the Musgrave Sports and Social 5k on next Wednesday June 15 at 8pm. Registration takes place at Cork Boat Club from 6.30pm and the race starts quite close by on the Marina. 

Remember that those who used to run with Midleton Town Council will now be running as Midleton Collective.




East Cork Track Championships

Entries are now open for the East Cork Athletics Division Senior, Junior & Master T&F Championships on Tuesday, 21st June at Colaiste an Chroi Naofa, Carraig na Bhfear.

This is always a fun night and a great opportunity for people to try their hand at T&F in a relaxing atmosphere as well as giving the more seasoned track athletes a chance to see how their training is going.

Can club/competition secretary email entries to gerfoley5@gmail.com.  Closing date is Saturday, 18th June at 10 pm.

Races confined to AAI registered athletes with clubs affiliated to the East Cork Athletics Division. Entry Fee €5.00. Entry Fee will be taken at the gate.

This is suitable for all our members and all are well capable of competing in a very friendly atmosphere. A really fun night. So come on out and give it a try. Danny







Dromina 5 Mile

Tony Forrestal had a fine run here on Friday night running 27.52 slightly down on his Cloyne time of the previous week. This race is part of the very compeditive West Waterford series.
