Ladies Team 3rd O/35 Bronze

Sinead Falvey 2nd O/40 Silver

Breda Sheedy 2nd O/55 Silver

Mens Team 3rd O/50 Bronze

The County Masters Cross Country took place on Sunday in Carrignavar and we saw some fantastic running from our club runners. The Ladies were off first at 12noon and we had four runners. Louise Barry had to drop out unfortunately due to illness but being the great club person she is she was willing to run if required. Our team continued to do extremely well with Sinead Falvey having  a great run to finish 4th Lady overall. Maire Walsh making her return to cross country after some time continued with the great season she has been having and looked like she was doing it all her life without a break. Breda Sheedy and Meadhbh Campbell both had powerful runs also over a tough, mucky and windy course.

Ours men's  O/50 team of Ger O'Regan, Edmond O'Sullivan and Andre Brodkorb also had really good runs with Ger having one of his finest runs of the season. Big thanks to Andre for stepping in to make up the team and Edmond having a strong solid run as always.

Christmas Night Out

A great night was once again organised by Collette Dalton and a great crowd attended also. A big thank you is due to Collette for such a great night. Just a few random photo's  Thanks Colette once again.

 

Cork BHAA Race Notification: Cork Simon Turkey Trot Cork BHAA Admin Dec 9 The Cork Simon Turkey Trot is our final race of 2023 and takes place on Sunday December 17 at 11am. Registration is at Blackrock Hurling Club from 9.30am. Entry costs €10 for all runners regardless of being registered or not. Everybody will be asked for their estimated 5k time at registration and the closest actual time is the winner so please know your 5k time to help us speed up entries. Watches are not allowed and we won’t have a clock at the finish line to give everybody a fair chance of winning. We ask companies and individuals alike to bring along spot prizes which are given out as part of the post-race celebrations. It’s always a great way way to wrap up the BHAA caledar so we hope you can join in the fun for such a good cause. Don't forget to break out the Christmas jumpers and Santa outfits!
