The St. Catherine's AC 5K Race takes place next Thursday (03rd August) in Ballynoe at 8pm.

Our Club will be defending the Dan McCarthy Memorial Team Cup which we won last year.

The criteria is a Team of 3 (Top 3 Finishers in the race not included) with at least 1 Male and 1 Female included.  It also includes a €300 prize.

Our members are having great individual success in races this year and this is a perfect opportunity to translate that into team success and retain the Trophy for another year.

We need as many of our members (Male and Female) as possible to run on Thursday and if you can't run please come along on the night and support your clubmates as not only do we have fantastic runners among us but we have hands down the best supporters of any club in Cork.

Churchtown South 4 Mile

This took place on Thursday evening in ideal conditions and it was great to see so many from the club taking part or supporting. It was a superbly organised event with a great spread after. Well done Churchtown South.

 Of course we were in the prizes. Our first man home was Darren Aherne who took 1st O/40 and our first lady was Sinead Falvey who took 2nd O/40. Siobhan O'Leary was 2nd O/50 and Martha McNamara was 1st O/60. Donie O'Connell was 1st O/70.

Well done everyone and as always apologies for anyone I missed.
