Sterling 5Km

4th Place finish for Dee Duran

The Sterling 5Km took place on Wednesday evening. On a tough hilly course but a fine evening for running. This was formerly Novartis 5Km but the name has changed but the course has not so many of you will remember it

We had four runners there Darren Ahern who finished 20th overall in a fine time of 17.52 and Edmond O'Sullivan just returning from injury having a fine run also. Great to see him back leading the Midleton Collective team. We had two ladies also Dee Duran and Amanda Cooney.

Dee ran a great race finishing 4th Lady overall and collecting a prize for herself . She did 20.07 on a very tough course and was well deserving of her prize. Amanda had her usually very steady run.
