*Marathon*  ✅ don't need any more medals, t-shirts, or joint problems

 *Cross country* not yet..

Take on the club cross country challenge for the coming 2024 season and aim to race 3 cross county events for your club over Sept to December in East Cork/ Cork Region. Start training now to be prepared.

When you run for your club cross country team, you support local races that support grass roots athletics rather than  privately organised races where v little revenue, if any at all returns to our sport or clubs...

If you haven't run cross country yet, this is the time to sign up for the experience where all that matters is your effort you make for your athletic club team .
Times don't matter, Fancy runners not needed.

Your club needs you! Cross country runners do not get injured running cross country FACT.

Over training for long distances is the most common cause of runners injury..and no runner wants that borderline insanity feeling when they are injured.

So commit to being a stronger, more agile and flexible runner and training for xc this summer for the coming season by running over softer surfaces (gentler on joints.)

Training this week Tuesday and Thursday , 9.30 in Aghada pitches.perfect location for speed, off road training in the woods, and mobility and activation exercises in the astro.

Just turn up.
