WEEKEND RUNAROUND

1st May is D Day

East Cork Road Racing Championships

All roads lead to Ballynoe next Thursday evening with the Ladies Race starting at 7.15 and the men's straight after.

We need as many as possible to run both ladies and gents and if you cannot run PLEASE come and support. Every shout (as ye all well know) helps. Remember that the course is two thirds downhill.

Kinsale 10 Mile

Enjoyed a well organised Kinsale 10 Mile race today. Challenging but fair course with all sorts of weather thrown in. Lovely track finish on the Fitzsimons Park running track at Kinsale Community School. Especially poignant as it's named after the late Shane Fitzsimons who contributed to its development (Shane was my wife's brother in law). 

Well done Don and Amanda Cooney also had a fine run
