BHAA Carey Tools 5km Race 

Report from Andre Brodkorb

The inaugural Cork BHAA Carey Tools 5k was held in Blackrock on Tuesday 19th August 2025 with over 350 runners crossing the finish line. Andre Brodkorb won 2nd O/55 and our Midleton Collective team won 3rd prize, with Luca Brodkorb leading the way with a PB of 17:51min, followed by Andre Brodkorb and Joseph Power. Amanda Cooney, Maura Fitzgerald and Bernie Twomey also had  good runs. Even with a late course change, the race ran smoothly as usual and participants enjoyed their run on this warm summer evening.

Katie Hennessy had another great run and was 4th Female overall in 19.18 missing out on 3rd place by only 3 seconds. Danny
